Open Waters Of The Reservation Are To Be Determined Each Year By The Shoshone And Arapaho Business Councils.

The Following Waters Of The Reservation Are Open To Year Round Fishing With Permit: (January 1st through December 31st):

  • North Fork of the Popo Agie River and Popo Agie River to Hudson.
  • Ray Lake
  • Wind River Canyon

The Following Waters Are Open January 1st Through September 30th

  • Bull Lake and Lower Bull Lake Creek.
  • Upper and Lower Dinwoody Lakes and Dinwoody Creek below Upper Dinwoody Lake to its confluence of the Wind River.

Waters Open April 1 Through September 30 Are As Follows:

  • Washakie Reservoir.
  • Wind River, excluding Wind River Canyon.
  • Downstream from the confluence of the Popo Agie and Little Wind River.

Waters Open June 1st Through September 30th

  • All roadless area lakes and streams
  • Moccasin Lake
  • Upper Bull Lake Creek above the inlet of the Lake

Closed Waters

  • Yantie or Yantic Lake is Closed to General, Courtesy, Special, “For Fishing Only Card” and permit holders to fishing and trespassing
  • Dinwoody Creek above Upper Dinwoody Lake is Closed to fishing.
  • North Fork of Little Wind River is Closed to fishing downstream from its confluence with Washakie Creek.
  • Dinwoody Creek between the Lower and Upper Lakes is closed to fishing from April 1 to May 15.

All Waters Not Expressly Opened To Permit Fishing To The General Public Will Be Closed.
